Solastalgia

Solastalgia is a contemporary dance duet created as part of a multi-faceted interdisciplinary project by Kasia Witek. As well as the performance, the project includes movement workshops empowering young people to explore emotions related to climate change, and promoting togetherness, mental resilience and creativity. The project also includes mental health talks by leading climate psychologists, staff training on sustainability and PTSD/trauma, and environmental consultations. Through dance and dialogue, Solastalgia heightens awareness of our place in nature, and nature's place in us.
