Joe Wright / Alex Roth Duo
I met saxophonist Joe Wright on the jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music and we subsequently spent an intensive period developing a shared improvisational vocabulary, often expanding their sound with live electronics and effects to create richly textured sonic landscapes. This close musical relationship fed into the band Otriad, which I formed for my MA recital in 2012.
